Since January 2025, people of all generations who want to live actively and communally across age boundaries have found their new home in the Schäferstegen.
Thanks to our multi-generational concept, residents can also remain part of the community permanently when life circumstances change – for example, in old age or with increasing need for support.
For existing or future needs, the PIA care service as well as various services within the framework of "Living with Service" are available directly on-site.
Our modern, barrier-free equipment is tailored to the needs of older people. Fully equipped common rooms invite to sociable togetherness, events, and activities.

Living in Community:
• Two shared living communities with eight and six rooms respectively
• Each room is a private retreat – individually designable with your own furniture
• Communally used kitchen, common room, and generous outdoor area
• Participation in communal life as desired – everything is possible, nothing is mandatory

Yet self-determined and safe:
• Daily assistance and care when needed
• Support with the goal of maximum independence
• Self-determined life in the community with your own private area
• Daily reachable contact person on-site for all concerns

Thanks to our central location in Berlin-Pankow, shopping opportunities, doctors, pharmacies, and public transportation are easily accessible. The green surroundings invite you to walks and relaxation.
